Week 1. Magic Box – “World in a Box”
Materials: small boxes, cardboard, sugar paper, tissue paper, beads, wire, stickers,
acrylic markers, glue, scissors.
Age: 4–8 (complexity adjusted)
Children create a miniature 3D world inside a box — a forest, city, fairyland, or outer
space.
Structure (60–75 min):
 Introduction and choosing a theme
 Decorating the background
 Creating characters and objects from cardboard and paper
 Assembling everything inside the box
 Short presentations

Week 2. Movable Cardboard Puppet
Materials: thick cardboard, scissors, acrylic markers, brads/pins, tissue paper,
stickers.
Children design a character with arms and legs that move using pins.
Structure (60 min):
 Drawing or using templates
 Decorating with markers and stickers
 Cutting out body parts
 Connecting pieces with pins
 Final play with the puppets
Adaptation:
 Younger children use large pre-cut shapes
 Older children create their own characters (animals, robots, fantasy creatures)

Week  3. Magic Masks – “Become a Character”
Materials: ready-made masks, ribbons, beads, fabric, feathers, acrylic markers, glue
gun (used only by the adult).
Children design and transform masks into animals, fairies, heroes, monsters, etc.
Structure (60 min):
 Choosing a character
 Decorating the mask
 Adding ribbons, feathers, beads
 Final transformation show
Suitable for all ages.

 Week 4. Shadow Theatre
Materials: cardboard, skewers, tracing paper, lamp, scissors, markers.
Children create shadow puppets and perform a small show.
Structure (60–75 min):
 Designing and cutting silhouettes
 Attaching them to skewers
 Making a group shadow screen with tracing paper
 Rehearsing small scenes
 Performing in groups
Adaptation:
 Younger: simple large shapes
 Older: more detailed silhouettes

 Week 5. Magic Lantern
Materials: electronic candles, acrylic sheets, cardboard, wire, acrylic markers, tape.
Children decorate acrylic sheets and build a glowing lantern around a LED candle.
Structure (60 min):
 Choosing a theme (stars, plants, creatures)

 Drawing on transparent acrylic sheets
 Building the cardboard base
 Adding the LED candle
 Finishing decoration with wire and stickers
The final moment — turning off the lights and seeing all lanterns
